POULTRY DRINKERS.
Two systems of water provision exist for birds:
-
Open
System
-
Closed
System.
The open system consists of a bowl drinker, either a
bell-type or channel-type, or other similar system where the birds have
the opportunity to see the water, to put their beak in and clean it, to
stir up the water and the food and to soil and contaminate the drinker
permanently.
The closed system is where NIPPLES are used, as long as antidripping
devices are not necessary, and these allow the birds to continuously
access clean water without the possibility of contamination. If the
farmer provides the birds clean water using the NIPPLES, the water
always will remain clean

NIPPLE DRINKER TYPE FOR THE
POULTRY INDUSTRY.
The NIPPLE AVICORVI is an advanced designed nipple drinker. It does not
have an external pin activator, and therefore it cannot accidentally be
activated.
When the height in the water column is leveled based on the recommended
regulator’s pressure, the NIPPLE AVICORVI dispenses much more water
than other nipples, without leaking or dripping. The birds receive more
water and the floor of the shed stays drier.
It is the only NIPPLE that takes two spheres and two independent seals,
to allow you to assure better behaviour. This design is a worldwide
recognized patent. Each and every nipple is checked thoroughly before
sale to assure that the stainless steel spheres and seals meet our
highest precision requirements. This gives the NIPPLE absolute air
tightness, when the quality and the pressure of the water are correct.

|
TThe amount of water that NIPPLE AVICORVI gives to the birds is in
accordance with the height of the water column of the pressure
regulator. At a height of only 10 centimetres of column level on the
pipe that takes the NIPPLES, they give 40cms3 of water per minute to
the birds. And approximately every increase of 5cms in height on the
regulator’s level, the water delivery per minute to the birds is also
increased by 10cms3.
NIPPLE AVICORVI cares for the birds from the very first day, broilers,
pullets, commercial egg layers, heavy breeders. In addition it
dispenses water with greater efficiency and precision to adult quails.
AVICORVI can provide small bowls to help chicks to use alongside our
nipples, a unit required only during the first 3 days. This allows the
birds to familiarize themselves with the water delivering process.
These bowls are only compatible with NIPPLE AVICORVI..

UNIVERSAL DRINKER
This is another advanced design drinker. Its bowl, which is 20cms in
diameter, can look after 9 adult birds simultaneously.
For each space available in any drinker, 10 birds can be looked after.
In theory this drinker has the capacity to look after 80 to 90 adult
birds every day.
The actual space where the birds take water in the bell type drinker,
is the hoop that dispenses the water, and that is only 3.5cms wide; for
that reason when the birds are adult they drink diagonally because they
can't do it from the front because the 3.5cms of drinking area of the
hoop is insufficient.
AVICORVI UNIVERSAL DRINKER, in spite of its size, provides better
access for the birds than the bell type drinker. The bird can have
access to 6cms for its head in the plate of the AVICORVI UNIVERSAL
DRINKER, allowing the birds to drink from the front without difficulty.

It occupies less space
in the shed. If you put one after another, in a square meter you would
get 25 UNIVERSAL DRINKERS and if we do the same with the bell type
drinker, you could only fit in 9 units. Bird per bird, the bell type
drinker occupies more space in the shed.
The cleaning of the UNIVERSAL DRINKER is far easier and takes far less
time than the bell type. And the wasted water, as a result of the
cleaning, is far less than the bell type. The water comes into the bowl
of the UNIVERSAL DRINKER through orifices located in bottom of the
central tube, minimizing contamination. In the bell type the water
drains into the hoop from the top of the bell, allowing for dust and
dirt from the shed to contaminate it.
The ballast in the drinker type bell is generally a deposit of water
that is in the internal inferior part of the bell, which remains there
and goes stale, and this deposit prevents proper cleaning. The ballast
that is part of the UNIVERSAL drinker is a metallic rod that is
protected and permanently sealed in a PVC tube, so preventing
contamination of the water.
Cleaning the UNIVERSAL DRINKER is much more simple, less expensive, and
simply better

AVICORVI LATERAL CUP.
Ideal as an alternative for
water provision for cage layers and quails. The installation is very
easy, with a very precise valve and lasts for a long time. It works
through pressure from a water tank whose base is positioned about 3
meters above the cups.
It comes with a clamp that allows fast and easy installation. Its valve
is independent and can be changed at any time
.
CUP CRISTINA
It is installed directly onto a ½ " PVC pipe. Also useful with caged
birds. It requires a saddle, to attach the cup onto the pipe.

OTHER PRODUCTS
AVICORVI PRESSURE REGULATORS.
These are indispensable for the effective operation of our nipple line
of products. Without the regulator, nipples would dispense excess water
which would cause dampness in the bed or floor of the shed.
Model 1800
For lines up to 30 meters long, to look after 1500 adult broilers. Or
for short lines in cages of layers or quails where they can take care
of up to two floors, one on top of another, with low pressure, allowing
the birds access with the maximum facility. It is low in price, but
extremely precise.
The water tank that provides water to this regulator can be between 3
and 4 meters in height. Regulator Model 1800 is ideal in small
exploitations where NIPPLE AVICORVI is used
.
Model 5000
For lines up to 160 meters long, for looking after 8000 adult birds.

|
When AVICORVI REGULATORS 1800 are installed, it is advisable that the
tank that provides the water is set to a height above 4 meters,
allowing a good volume and delivery of water.
The previous regulators do not use a diaphragm. They work with a
floater and their inner metallic components are made of stainless steel
